Thermano Agro thermal insulation panel installation instructions

Thermano Agro thermal insulation panel installation instructions.

1. To install thermal installation, prepare the following:

  • Thermano Agro panels
  • C-profile
  • H-profile
  • hangers and short screws for them, or long stainless steel screws with plastic discs.

The screws should be long enough to anchor the material to a depth of 3 cm in a wooden structure.

2. Begin the installation by fitting a C-profile along the wall circumference. Use screws or expander bolts for this purpose. This provides panel reinforcement and stability along the wall, which facilitates further installation.

3. The next stage is to install the Thermano Agro panels. The panels are light enough not to require special equipment for transport. Slide the panels into the C-profile. Then attach the H-profiles from other sides. These have to be pre-cut according to the panel edge length, using any cutting tool, e.g. disc grinder.

The H-profile is fitted to the roof structure using hangers. In the given example, H-profiles (in video) were only used as reinforcement and anti-curling protection for the Thermano Agro panels.

Fit them to the structure using long screws with plastic discs. Fit these screws between the warm side of the building and the wooden structure, which also constitutes a thermal insulation material. However, there are no concerns that measurable bridging could occur.

Each panel should be fitted with 6 screws, evenly distributed over the panel surface. Due to the aggressive environment inside livestock buildings, use stainless steel screws.

4. The following plates are laid analogically, in rows. From time to time, it is worth checking the flatness of the soffit ceiling surface, using a long spirit level.

Cut the final row of panels to adjust the thermal insulation system to the internal dimensions of the building. Take care when cutting the panels so that they precisely fit the C-profile.

Due their properties, Thermano Agro panels are ideal for the thermal insulation of livestock buildings.

  • The material is resistant to the organic compounds present in hen houses, pigsties and barns.
  • The panels are also suitable for cleaning with pressure washers.
  • Furthermore, Thermano Agro panels are resistant to the activities of rodents.
  • The non-absorbability feature prevents the material from losing its thermal insulation properties when in contact with water.

The most important advantages of Thermano Agro panels are the ease of maintaining constant thermal conditions and the thermal comfort of the livestock inside the building.

This is essential in the case of breeding, helping to increase livestock body weight gain, breeding potential or, in case of laying hens, laying performance.
